Athletics:
Congratulations to our 8th grade girls basketball team on winning the championship. They are back to back champions. We are so proud of you!
Covid 19
We need your assistance. Please contact the school if any of the following occurs:
- - If you are told by your doctor to quarantine for COVID-19 symptoms
- - If a person in your household tests positive for COVID-19
- - If you are concerned that you have been exposed to COVID-19
Please contact Heather Brandenburg and/or Matthew Mallery via phone or email at: malleryma@fortmillschools.org or brandenburgh@fortmillschools.org.
Please do not contact teachers first. Administration will follow up with teachers in regards to assignments if a student needs to be quarantined. This information helps the school/district with contact tracing and management of COVID-19 protocols. This also ensures that we are coding student attendance appropriately.
Free Educational Support For Students
The district is also excited to share with you a free resource added by the State Department of Education to assist students with their virtual or independent learning days. Tutor.com is now available for SC residents through Discus with real time tutoring from 8am-10pm Sunday – Saturday.
Tutor.com is located on the A-Z list in Discus which is now available on your student’s ClassLink LaunchPad. To access all resources provided through Discus, including Tutor.com, simply click on the Discus icon in the ClassLink LaunchPad. All resources are listed alphabetically, by subject or by grade level.

Lost and Found:
Please make sure your students are writing their name on their belongings. We have several items in our lost and found which is located by the cafeteria. Please encourage your student to check lost and found if they are missing items.
A/B Hybrid Days
On their off days, students are required to complete ALL assignments given by their teachers. Their “at home” days are an extension of learning from the previous day. These assignments are graded and are not pass/fail like E-Learning last year. The assignments need to be completed on the day they are given. Please remember that our teachers are teaching another group of students on your child’s off day. They will not be available for immediate response because they are teaching another group.
