Principal's Message

Welcome to Fort Mill Middle School!  My name is Trina McFadden, and I am  overjoyed to serve as principal for the remainder of the 25-26 school year and  beyond. 

It is obvious that when you walk into our building or engage with our students and  staff that people LOVE to be here. Maintaining a sincere sense of family and a safe  and  welcoming environment for all is paramount as we go forward. 

At FMMS, we believe that academic excellence is not just a destination; it's a journey  we take with every student every day. Our mission to "nurture and educate our  students to value life-long learning and positively impact their world" is more than a  statement—it's the driving force behind everything we do. We recognize that this  mission is only possible with a strong partnership between dedicated, highly qualified  educators, curious students, community partners, and above all, supportive families. 

The middle school years are a critical time of transition, self-discovery, and  accelerated growth. Our full faculty and staff are committed to support your student(s) through this journey so that they feel confident as they explore new interests, navigate challenges, and build a strong foundation for high school. Our goal is to equip every child with the critical thinking skills, confidence, and character necessary to thrive in an ever-changing world.
